Cannero Riviera

Cannero Riviera is a picturesque resort nestled between the lake and the mountains, with features typical of Mediterranean coastal destinations. Thanks to its exceptionally mild climate, the town was given the name “Riviera”.

Particularly charming is the picturesque lakeside promenade, rich in historic sights, with narrow alleyways, small harbours, restaurants and shops. Cannero’s beach is one of the main attractions for many visitors, especially during the summer.

From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and the Castles of Cannero, also known as the Castles of Malpaga, which rise from the waters of the lake on two small islets.

Throughout the year, Cannero Riviera offers a rich programme of events, including exhibitions, excursions, guided tours and concerts.

Events not to be missed include the traditional spring Camellia Exhibition and the renowned Citrus Fruit Exhibition, held in March and attracting numerous visitors from all over the world.
